During the Pakistan vs. South Africa Test, commentator Shaun Pollock mistakenly called Pakistan captain Shan Masood the "captain of India." This gaffe occurred as the crowd cheered for Babar Azam's arrival, anticipating his return after the Asia Cup 2025. Masood was later dismissed for 76 before Azam came to the crease.
